Workshops and Pedagogy

My art-making is deeply connected to my pedagogy and research. I have taught in a variety of museum, school, and community spaces, and also held various faculty appointments at private and public universities. My teaching uses interdisciplinary frameworks that integrate studio art, social sciences, humanities, and cultural theory through the tactile process of making art. I have taught and lead public workshops for the Los Angeles County Museum of art (LACMA), the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA), the USC Fischer Museum of Art, and Self Help Graphics and Art.
